COMPARISON OF PERCUTANEOUS AND INTRAABDOMINAL BLOCKADES OF ILIOHYPOGASTRIC AND ILIOINGUINAL NERVES FOR POSTOPERATIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT OF TOTAL ABDOMINAL HYSTERECTOMY PATIENTS: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL

Study Objective: In this study we aimed to determine whether iliohypogastric and ilioinguinal nerve blockade from intraabdominal approach for the postoperative pain management of total abdominal hysterectomy patients could be a reliable effective alternative compared percutaneous block IHII nerves.
 Design: This is randomised controlled double blind prospective clinical trial. 
 Setting: was conducted in operating room, recordings were performed recovery unit gynaecology clinic.
 Patients: Eighty seven women undergoing enrolled but 82 completed study. Patients divided into three groups (n=29 each), as control group (group C), PB) IB). Interventions: Group C received no procedure. The bilateral nerves after closure PB before IB. Measurements: Mean arterial pressure, heart rate, scores, satisfaction morphine consumptions side effects recorded at 2nd, 6th, 12th 24th hours.
 Main Results: Postoperative MAP, HR results found similar all groups. VAS scores hours significantly lower an IB than group. There significant differences between any time point. Morphine consumption data group.
 Conclusions: Intraabdominal just abdomen relieving safe method conventional without adverse effects.
